Description
Bring home the Blessed Virgin Mary under her beloved title of the Mystic Rose, María Rosa Mística. Mary is shown with her hands joined in prayer, wrapped in a cream mantle trimmed in gold, with roses on her chest. The devotion began in the small town of Montichiari, in northern Italy, and has grown around the world through many answered prayers.
We had the privilege of visiting the sanctuary in Montichiari and the workshop in Lucca, Italy, where this statue is made for us, and you'll find photos from that visit in the gallery. It's cast in a traditional mold with resin and white marble powder, finished by a local artist and hand-painted by artisans who have worked at the shop for many years.
