Description
Contemplate the love and sorrow of the Mother of God with this all-white statue of the Pietà, La Piedad. Mary holds the body of her Son taken down from the Cross, in the classic composition inspired by Michelangelo's Pietà. A moving piece for a home altar, a place of remembrance or a chapel, and a meaningful gift of comfort.
The statue is made for us by our partner workshop in Lucca, Italy. It's cast in a traditional mold with resin and white marble powder, then cleaned and finished by a local artist.
