This is our statue of Saint Claire / Santa Clara. Founder of the Order of the Poor Ladies which is now know as Poor Clares. Her feast day is on 11 August. Patron of eye disease, goldsmith, good weather, needleworkers, bicycle messengers and extrasensory perception, Lived and Died in Auguest 11 1253 in Assisi, Italy. She was also one of the first followers of Saint Francis of Assisi, We have the statue produce by our partner shop in Lucca, Italy. It's made in a traditional resin mold with white marble powder, then cleaned and finished by the local artist. Next it's painted on the shop by the ladies that have been working there for many years. This image will make a beautiful gift to any family and home. We are very proud to be able to bring this quality at such a reasonable price.
